Professor C J F P Jones, BSC, MSc, PhD, CEng, FICE

Colin Jones is a Director of Electrokinetic Limited and Emeritus Professor of Geotechnical Engineering at Newcastle University. He is the Immediate Past Chairman of the UK Bridge Design Committee and a Past President of the International Geosynthetics Society. He has forty years experience in civil, geotechnical and structural design, construction including the development of National Design Standards and Codes of Practice. Research work includes the development of electrokinetic geosynthetics and the design of integral bridges.
Colin is a pioneer in the fields of reinforced soil and electrokinetic geosynthetics.


David Huntley, BA(Econ), ACMA

David Huntley is a Director of Electrokinetic Limited.
A qualified accountant, David’s background is as a chief executive of technology and engineering companies in both the USA and UK.


Dr John Lamont-Black, BSc, PhD

John Lamont-Black is the Chief Executive of Electrokinetic Limited.
John directs the day to day activities of the company and has extensive knowledge of both the theoretical background to electrokinetic geosynthetic technology and its application to practical challenges in ground consolidation and waste dewatering.


Professor Stephanie Glendinning, BSc, PhD

Stephanie Glendinning is a Director of Electrokinetic Limited and Reader in Environmental Geotechnics, Newcastle University, School of Civil Engineering and Geosciences.
Stephanie has extensive technical background and experience in the area of slope stabilisation with particular reference to the challenges associated with climate change.


Chris White, BSc MSc

Chris White is Applications Engineer of Electrokinetic Ltd. Chris has extensive experience in contaminated land remediation and exploration geotechnics with particular emphasis on in situ and specialist testing.
Chris manages commercial electrokinetic testing as part of ground treatment and dewatering projects and manages field operations.


David Alder, MEng

David is a junior geotechnical engineer who joined Electrokinetic having graduated from Newcastle University (2011) with an MEng in Civil Engineering, specialising in geotechnical engineering. His particular interests relate to slope stability analysis and 3D-FE modelling of embankment stability.
